Work with R.H. Downs
Building Your Brand
Blogger, influencer, content creator
R.H. Downs has collaborated with many local brands and bloggers through her work with BlogJam Atlantic. When starting out as a reluctant blogger, she had no idea that it would lead her to build meaningful relationships with businesses such as RBC Canada, WordPress.com, Downtown Halifax Business Commission, ECM Media, The Prince George Hotel, and her favorite restaurant Gio. Promoting local brands, especially those that work with food, is not only a passion but an obsession that helps feed her soul. If you need help with content creation, crafting your brand story, or if you would like to invite Renée to dine at your restaurant and blog about it, please get in touch.
Hostess, menu designer, tastings
Food is another way in which R.H. Downs loves to express herself. Her philosophy “taking care of what is on the inside first” is what has led her down this path; cooking classes are a great way to learn about meal prep, saving money, and saving time by introducing raw to ready meals in less than twenty minutes. Renée also teaches meal prep workshops, along with making herself available to teach lunch and learns for business professionals right in their office space. This full-time foodie works part time as an independent Epicure consultant and her love for good food is evident when you see her in action. Toastmaster, professional actress, author
R.H. Downs is a trained actress, with a BFA (theatre) from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College. Having trained in Harlow, England, Renée has worked with many voice and speech professionals. Since leaving the performance side of things, she has ventured into public speaking. This move served her well while promoting her first novel, Sisters of Avalon. This creative thinker has spoken at the Word on the Street Festival, momondays, BlogJam Atlantic, Podcamp Halifax and was featured on her favourite podcast Grown Ups Read From Things They Wrote as Kids.
